So, I have decided to create a few lists of goals that I want to accomplish for 2012. Some are more personal and I don't feel comfortable posting them on here. But here is one of my lists. I want to read at least 25 books this year. Here is the list that I have created:
1. Financial Peace Planner (Currently Reading)
2. Hunger Games (Currently Reading)
3. Catching Fire
4. Mockingjay
5. Deadly Choices
6. The Panic Virus
7. The Savvy Crafters Guide to Success
8. The Book of Awakening (Currently Reading)
9. Outlander
10. Dragonfly in Amber
11. Voyager
12. Drums in Autumn
13. The Fiery Cross
14. A Breath of Snow and Ashes
15. An Echo in the Bone
16. Written in My Own Heart's Blood (doesn't release until 2013, so we will see if this gets accomplished)
17. America's Cheapest Family
18. Shift your Habit
19. Thunder Dog: The True Story of a Blind Man, His Guide Dog and the Triumph of Trust at Ground Zero
20. The Three R's
21. One of Us Must Be Crazy...and I'm Pretty Sure It's You: Making Sense of the Differences that Divide Us
22. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
23. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes
24. Your 4-Year-Old: Wild and Wonderful (I suppose I should start this soon)
25. The Money Saving Mom's Budget
A number of these are part of a series, so hopefully I like the first book of the series. Otherwise, I will be looking for new books! I also have a few stacks of Newsweek and Bloomberg Business magazines that I need to read through and recycle. And, on top of all those reads, the kids and I still aim to read between 3-6 books a day together. I am thinking of starting a chapter book with Wildman and reading a chapter an evening before bed.
Do you make a list of books you want to read? Any suggestions? Well, I suppose I should finish up on here so I can get some reading done!
